Fanestil Meats was founded in 1942 in Emporia, Kansas and they are very proud of their roots. While they have a premium product that is on grocery store shelves, a core part of their business is gift baskets and packages for corporations.
For this exercise, I focused as if the company was expanding into supermarkets regionally. I repositioned the company to focus on their heritage of provided premium meats. The logo has been completely updated, but in a way that maintains a vintage feel. The refreshed identity celebrates the heritage of the brand in a way that the packaging distinguishes itself on crowded store shelves.
